My little, personal dash of the interweb, devoted to my crazy world and all aspects of my stupid life. Including coming soon the famed List of Enemies!

I'm definitely beginning to like this lj thing, I think I could really get used to it. I like the subject line, the spellchecking and the way I can be part of the something positive community. Speaking of the s*p lj, the threads on there about branding gone wrong and 6 things you didn't know about texas are very, very funny.
More importantly though I'm thinking about applying to lj community sexy geeks http://www.livejournal.com/community/sexy_geeks/ and need you, the reader to give me some advice. Namely, what makes me sexy (don't laugh)and what my best geek aspects are. Note well,Anyone who mocks me will die a very, very painful death.
On a TV note, friends is over, I am sad. Dawson's is gone, Sex and the City is gone, the series of the OC is finishing. It is the winter of my TV soul. More importantly, the TV series I grew up with are gone and am now way, way older than when I started watching them. I feel like TV has moved on but I haven't. I'm rambling. Basically, though, TV has made me sad. In more ways than one.

Going on my current trend of short posts, I submitted something to IMDB, thus restoring my tarnished geek status. Really I shouldn't have either sunk to it, or worse talked about it but I couldn't stop myself. I was watching jake 2.0 and spotted clayton rohner from the much lamentedly cancelled g vs e and noticing that it wasn't on his imdb profile found myself forced to intervene. Now I feel both tingly and dirty all over at the same time.
P.S. I'm still waiting for imdb to verify my submission.

Having read too many articles I now can't be bothered to rant about torture. If you really want to hear about it or indeed anything else in the form of a rant, post here. otherwise I won't.
Note: I have managed to create a web perpetual motion machine using panda golf - it just bounces back and forth and back and forth. It's been going for about 20 minutes and probably will do forever.

I've been having site problems lately with 404 errors and so on. Therefore the update will be somewhat delayed. If Dev sees this your blog 404ed me too.

Hey peeps, it's been a whiles. I'm going post an essayish thing today, so if you check back soonish it'll probably be here. I'm thinking that I should try and get back to my old school habit of writing long-winding never get to the point rants about serious issues as I am sure this is what the people want, really. Anyways rant will be on torture and society in a post abu ghraib context, regular readers may remember that me and stoker had a discourse on this issue back during 24 season 2 and that I also had a tete a tete with dodds about it. Despite the usually good advice about sleeping dogs I'm going to return to this, hopefully today.
Anyways I've updated my link again. Return to sender, my favourite webcomic about someone called collette (and also featuring hobo-fighting!) is back with shiny new updates! Maximum Yayverdrive! Go read! Both newness and archives if you haven't seen it before. I've also updated my politics links: michael moore is back as is howard dean, I'm also test driving air america, which is american greasy liberal radio (you can listen on the web) the adverts alone are amusing. So far it seems fairly amusing and I think I'll come back for Al Franken and Chuck D.
On andrew travel news: I may be in Newcastle on wednesday, However I also may not and if I do I'll probably be going clubbing. I may be about on thursday though. More news later.

Edit: There is now a LJ feed of this, if anyone cares.

Since it's been almost 2 whole months since I last blogged I really should get around to it again. Also I'me done with my coursework so I should be a bit more time-rich . None of the other real-life developments in my world interest me any more, so I don't see why I should interest you with them. Instead I will tell you about my morning's surfing of the interweb, where I encountered the wrongest thing I've seen in ages over on ljdrama. Given the amount of time I've spent on the net, i don't wknow why anything shocks me any more but there's just something about a anorexic 14 year girl on crack sucking puss from her boyfriend's heroin pimples. Maybe I'm just going soft. If you don't require your eyes today, the link is http://www.livejournal.com/users/killahkillahdie/10139.html. This was only part of the weird infestation of lj-toting weirdos I discovered through LJdrama.org the 32 year-old anal-fixated gay-bashing christian closet-case who genuinely said that texas was bigger was india and that the entire pouplation could live there (texas not india) was also hilarious as were other things many involving whinging vegans, pagans, furries, cat-lovers, fatties and other losers with nothing better to do than complain on ljs.
On a less septic note, I've updated my links section to the right. New entries include a few more webcomics I read, as well as a student politics message board I post on and some other fun-corners of the interweb. I also spent an interesting time this morning laughing so much I had to close my eyes reading the poo-stories on B3ta, whose newsletter this week, incidentally, is very amusing. The archery game and highway hunter in particular were entertaining as was the 16k song. Before I depart to go and get ready to do real-life stuff, I will remind you all to read s*p, which has been terribly amusing lately and point all of those with access to e4 over to the O.C. which is jew-licious and on tonight and tomorrow.
